The CF AMR Syndicate consists of three partners:
Cystic Fibrosis Trust
Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis. Their community will improve care, speak out, support each other and fund vital research as we race towards effective treatments for all. We won’t stop until everyone can live without the limits of cystic fibrosis.
Everyone with CF requires access to effective antimicrobial medicines to treat CF lung infections to live a long and fulfilling life. However, slow progress is being made in developing new medicines that are urgently needed.
Medicines Discovery Catapult
Medicines Discovery Catapult (MDC) is part of a network of world-leading centres designed to transform the UK’s capability for innovation in specific areas and help drive future economic growth. The Catapult network was established by Innovate UK (part of UK Research & Innovation) to support innovation and its widespread use by UK businesses. They do this by providing access to expert technical capabilities, equipment and other resources required to take innovation ideas from concept to reality.

As the early-stage translation specialists, we bridge the gaps between the lab and the patient: advancing early scientific discoveries to a point where they can be developed into the next generation of diagnostics, treatments and cures by providing translation advice, translational science and translational funding.
