Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis. Their community will improve care, speak out, support each other and fund vital research as we race towards effective treatments for all. We won’t stop until everyone can live without the limits of cystic fibrosis.

Everyone with CF requires access to effective antimicrobial medicines to treat CF lung infections to live a long and fulfilling life. However, slow progress is being made in developing new medicines that are urgently needed.

Medicines Discovery Catapult is part of a network of world-leading centres designed to transform the UK’s capability for innovation in specific areas and help drive future economic growth. The Catapult network was established by Innovate UK (part of UK Research & Innovation) to support innovation and its widespread use by UK businesses. It does this by providing access to expert technical capabilities, equipment, and other resources required to take innovative ideas from concept to reality.
